One Room Redesign

The Design Process

Considering a complete overhaul? We'll understand your tastes and preferences and create a cohesive, comprehensive design plan that aligns with your goals and aesthetics and can be implemented at your own pace. In the end, your space will be totally transformed into the room of your dreams. Before we embark on this journey together, we will need some information to help us get started.  

Step 1: Gathering Information

  • E-Design Questionnaire - To help us create your dream space, you'll receive a questionnaire that helps us understand your goals, lifestyle, and budget. 

  • Inspiration Images -  Upload inspiration images, or a link to your Pinterest board, so we can align our design with your vision for the space. 

  • Photos -  Since we can’t be there with you, we need you to be our eyes. Use our Photo Guide to take photos of your space, along with a brief walkthrough video.

  • Dimensions -  We need basic measurements of your room, along with more detailed ones. It sounds scary, but it’s not! You'll receive our Measuring Guide which makes it a breeze. Make sure to double check your measurements to ensure their accuracy!

Step 2: Phone Consultation

Once we receive your information, together, we will review your space, inspiration images, and answer any questions you might have via Zoom.

Step 3: The Vision 

After our conversation, our team will work on a space plan and vision board that communicates the design concept. Before we proceed with fine-tuning, we want to make sure we’re on the right track. You’ll receive your design concept within 2 weeks. This gives you a chance to make any modifications you deem necessary.  You'll have 72 hours to reply with your feedback. 

Step 4: The Design

We will make necessary revisions and work on developing your design. Our team will select furnishings, finishes and fixtures based on your completed questionnaire. Once our selections are made, we will create a rendered 3D model of your room!

Step 5: The Presentation

After the heavy-duty design work is done, you will receive a comprehensive design plan from our team allowing you to execute the project your own pace. Our design plan includes the following:

  • Dimensioned floorplan showing location of furniture and/or casework.
     

  • Mood Board showing products, fixtures and finishes we're recommending for your space.

  • 3D Renderings of your room so you can see exactly what the design will look like!
     

  • Curated Pinterest board of suggested products
     

  • Customized shopping list with pricing
     

  • "Getting Started Guide" with industry tips and tricks from our team

Step 6: Wrap Up

We offer one round of changes to tweak the design in the way that you see fit. Changes MUST be included in one email only. Additional changes will be billed at our hourly rate.


One Room Design Combos

If you're interested in working with us on more than one space, we may be able to combine several spaces for a lower investment. Please email our team at info@aliyahcarlo.com so we can discuss your options!

TERMS & CONDITIONS
All design fees are non-refundable. If consult exceeds 90 minutes, additional time will be charged at $150 per hour, in 15 minute increments.
All design fees are non-refundable.

Because of our limited time and involvement, clients are ultimately responsible for ensuring that all furniture and material selections work within the space.

Client is wholly responsible for all items purchased by the Client. Aliyah Carlo Design cannot guarantee any fabric, material, or products against wearing, fading, soiling, or any other latent defect.

We do our best to refer quality tradespeople, but ultimately cannot be responsible for the workmanship of others.
